From Twann, take the A5 along the northern shore of Lake Biel towards Biel, past Wingreis and Tüscherz-Alfermée to the Vingelz district. In town, continue towards Mett to Südstrasse 2 (2504 Biel/Bienne). The 10 kilometres or so take about 13 minutes, a little less from Tüscherz; from Gaicht and the Twannberg, add the drive down to the lake. Through road, lanes and vineyards: bodywork for Twann and Tüscherz
Twann, Tüscherz and Alfermée are wine villages between the lake and the Jura slope, cut through by the railway and the road. Through traffic runs right through the middle of densely built Twann, and anyone driving to a house among the vines or up to Gaicht often manoeuvres in tight spaces.
