Does the whole door have to be painted?

Not always. Small damage in the lower area or on an edge can often be touched up as a spot repair. If the damage is in the middle of the panel, the whole door is usually painted so that no colour transition remains visible. With metallic and pearl effect paints we partly blend into the adjacent panels.
Can a dent in a car door be removed without painting?

Yes, if the paint is not cracked and the dent is accessible. The metal is then gently pushed back from the inside with special tools and the original paint is preserved. With sharp creases, dents right on an edge or damaged paint, a conventional repair with painting is needed.
What does it cost to remove a scratch from a car door?
